Ch. 01 The Story

Every player carries a story.
We guard it.

Fourteen years of quiet work, told in the only order that matters: his.

The Guardian's Creed

The player is the hero.
We are not.

Every agency says it puts the player first. Few build themselves around what that actually means: standing one step behind, and one step ahead.

The hero scores the goal, lifts the shirt, hears his name. The guardian reads the contract at two in the morning, calls the federation before the window closes, and sits with the family when the answer has to be no. We chose the second role in 2012 and we have never wanted the first.

That choice shapes everything. We do not collect players; we accompany them. We do not chase headlines; we prepare decisions. We measure ourselves not by the size of a transfer but by whether, five years later, the player would make the same choice again — with us beside him.

The story is yours. The way is ours. It has been our only sentence since the beginning, because it is the only one we need.

2012 2026

How the road was walked.

2012 — London

A desk, a phone, a conviction

BestWay Soccer is founded in London with a single idea: the player is the hero of his own story, and someone serious should be standing next to him. The first mandates are few, chosen, and kept.

2015 — Paris · Lisbon

The story crosses the Channel

Representation work opens in France and Portugal. Two football cultures, two languages, one way of working — read everything twice, promise only what can be kept.

2019 — Abidjan · Belo Horizonte

Four continents, one method

The network reaches West Africa and Brazil, where so many stories begin. The principle travels with us: meet the family before the player, and build the road before he walks it.

2023 — FIFA Licence

The badge on the work

Under FIFA's new agent regulations, BestWay Soccer is licensed — agent n°202305-2037. The rules changed; the way we worked did not have to.

2026 — Eleven Offices

The quiet network

London, Lisbon, Dakar, Paris, Milan, Basel, Bucharest, Tallinn, Abidjan, Belo Horizonte, Port Louis. Four languages spoken in-house, one standard kept everywhere. The story continues — the player's, always.

The Philosophy

Three words we keep.

01 · Patience

Patience

Careers are long; windows are short. We refuse the rushed signature and the convenient transfer. The right move a season later beats the wrong move tomorrow.

02 · Precision

Precision

Every clause read twice, every figure dated and sourced, every federation rule checked before the call. In this work, the detail is not a detail.

03 · Discretion

Discretion

What we know about a player belongs to the player. We do not negotiate in the press and we do not celebrate in public. The quiet deal is usually the good one.

Letter From the Founder On thirteen years of practice
“Patience is a method.”

I signed my first football mandate in May 2013. The player was Togolese, the club was French, the contract was multilingual. I was twenty-eight, holding a Master of Laws in wealth management from Université Paris 12 and a FIFA Match Agent licence I had earned the year before, in 2012, the same month I qualified as a private pilot.

Five years before that, between 2008 and 2013, I advised professional footballers on patrimony, taxation and sponsorship across France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Canada and Cyprus. That was my first practice. It taught me the second contract before it taught me the first.

I founded BestWay Soccer with one rule: we refuse more than we accept. We take on only the players and families we can genuinely move forward, and we grow carefully — never by volume. That rule has not changed in thirteen years. The roster stays deliberately small. That is on purpose.

The agency is registered in six federations: The FA, FFF, FIGC, FPF, URBSFA, FRF. I hold a FIFA Football Agent licence (number 202305-2037), authorised to represent minors, and a separate FIFA Match Agent record going back to 2012. The two licences travel independently. Both are held.

I have argued and won cases at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee and the Romanian Federation appeals commission. I mention this because most football agencies cannot. The clauses we write are written by someone who has also argued the ones that broke.

I am also a private pilot, fixed-wing and rotorcraft. I hold an ICAO English level 6, the highest, valid for life. The Federal Aviation Administration of the United States recognises my French DGAC licence. I mention this only because it is part of how I move between continents and how I reach clients I have agreed to be reachable for.

This is a small practice. We answer in person. We write in two languages. We refuse most of what is offered. The work I take on outlasts the window in which I take it on.

If you have read this far, the letter form is the way through.
